After a long flight with Swiss flight LX0097 via Sao Paolo in Brazil:
WE ARE BACK IN SWITZERLAND AGAIN... Home soil after exactly 262 days abroad!!




Nach einem langen Flug zurück in die Schweiz über Sao Paolo in Brasilien:
WIR SIND WIEDER ZURÜCK IN DER SCHWEIZ... Heimatboden nach genau 262 Tagen im Ausland!!

Die letzten Tage unserer Weltreise...
The last days of our trip around the world...


Wir genossen unsere letzten Tage in Argentinien noch in vollen Zügen. Eine Tangovorstellung im Café Tortoni stand natürlich ganz zuoberst auf unserem Programm.

We enjoyed every minute left in Argentina. Tango at Café Tortoni figured amongst the top items on our "bucket list".





Leider war das Casa Rosada (Evita lässt grüssen) im Umbau.

Unfortunately the Casa Rosada was being restored.







Aber an ihrem Grab im prunkvollen Friedhof La Recoleta konnten wir Evita trotzdem einen Besuch abstatten.

Instead we visited Evita on the pompous cemetery La Recoleta.





Eine sehr feine Gegend: wir sahen sogar einen Hundesitter!

Very posh neighborhood: we even spotted a dog sitter!







Und noch ein unvergesslicher Ausgang mit den Dutchies, diesmal in der Opera Bay Openair disco in Puerto Madero.

Unser letzter Drink in der Bar 6 und unsere Henkersmahlzeit im Uriarte, wo wir das beste Stück Fleisch assen, abgerundet mit einem feinen Felipe Rutini 1999...

Time to go home now... don't cry for me Argentina.
... we´ll be back - for sure!!!

Alone again for the last two weeks...

Willkommen in der Schweiz! Bariloche könnte gerade so gut in den Alpen liegen: Stahlblauer See, fantastische Bergkulisse und Bauten im Chalet Style...


Welcome in Switzerland! Bariloche looks like a place in the alps: blue lake, fantastic mountain scenery and houses built in chalet style.







Nach diesen Pläuschlerwochen musste wiedermal Sport gemacht werden: Die Landschaft am Seeufer entlang schien prädestiniert für eine Velotour...

After these indulging weeks, we desperately had to exercise. The lakeside seemed to be perfect for a bike tour...






...schien! Die Hälfte unseres Teams empfand es als lockeres Einwärmen, die andere Hälfte geriet ziemlich ausser Atem!

...seemed! One part of our team enjoyed this "warm-up", the other part struggled a bit!



Der Lichtblick! In der Colonia Suisa - von Schweizer Einwandern gegründet - gabs eine riesige Glace! Es lebe die Schweiz!

Auch am 2. Tag war Action angesagt: wir buchten einen 2tägigen kombinierten Reit-Rafting-Trip. Es war eine Tour der Superlativen...

The following day, we booked with eXtremo Sur Tours a combined horseriding-rafting tour. What an incredible tour...




...wilde Pferde, welche nur hartgesottene Cowboys zähmen konnten...

...wilde horses only to be riden by tough gauchos...









... eine unglaubliche Landschaft...

... a fantastic scenery...










... und abends Lagerfeuerromantik in der Blockhütte.

... and in the evening a log fire in a romantic hut.








Am nächsten Tag wurden die Reitstiefel gegen das Bikini ausgetauscht. Wir erlebten eine fantastische Bootsfahrt der Chilenischen Grenze entlang.

Instead of the horseriding boots, we changed to the swimming dress and had a fantastic boat tour, along the Chilean border.



Am Abend stiessen wir mit den coolen Dutchies Marnie & Ewout auf einen unvergesslichen Trip an!

In the evening, we toasted with the cool Dutch couple Marnie & Ewout to a unforgettable trip!





3 Tage Sport war genug und am 4. Tag sonnten wir unsere wunden Ärscher am Ufer des Lago Nahuel Huapi.

3 days of sport is enough. The forth day we tanned our sore ass at the lakeside of Lago Nahuel Huapi.






Unsere nächste Destination San Martin de los Andes sollte bloss unser Ausgangspunkt für die Weiterreise zum Chilenischen Vulkan Pucon sein. Aber die Zeit war knapp, die Ärscher immer noch wund...

Our next destination San Martin de los Andes was only ment to be starting point to the Chilean vulcano Pucon. But the time was scarce and the asses still sore...





...und so tauchten wir wieder ins geniesserische Leben ein. Im schönen Mendoza gönnten wir uns fantastische Abendessen mit excellentem Wein.

...so we dipped back into the indulging life. In beautiful Mendoza. we spoilt ourselves with fantastic dinners and excellent wine.




Natürlich durfte auch eine ausführliche Weindegustationstour nicht fehlen. Wir lernten viel über die Weinherstellung. Aber, unter uns gesagt: der beste argentinische Wein stammte aus Patagonien: A Lisa!!!

Of course we went on a winery tour and learnt a lot about wine making. But, between us: the best Argentinian wine we had was from Patagonia: A Lisa!!!




Unsere letzte Destination vor Buenos Aires war die Studentenstadt Cordoba.

Our last destination before Buenos Aires was the student town Cordoba.









Bevor wir uns ins berauschende Nachtleben stürzten (z.b. La Osa), machten wir, was alle Touristen machen: eine City Bus Tour durch die pittoreske Stadt. Ok, ganz nett, aber eben nicht Buenos Aires.

Before we dipped into night life (fantastic, for instance La Osa), we did what all tourists do: we curved around with a city tour bus. Nice, but of course nothing compared to Buenos Aires.




Wir - zumindest ein Teil von uns - konnten es kaum erwarten, in Buenos Aires die Läden leer zu kaufen.

We - at least part of us - couldn't wait to buy the shops empty in Buenos Aires.
