Indonesia - North Sulawesi

2 certified divemasters more on this planet... YESSSS, we did it!

"Merci Bjorn - be careful with this bottle... ;-) Many thanks Jim and Carey and to the whole Eco-Divers crew - we had a fantastic time!!!"

Soccer fans may already have noticed the Italia flag - the WHOLE village was Italia fan!!!

Our kitchen/ living room

Joyce, Helena, Emily, Esther, Prima, Ellen, Mona, Merry - it was so cool to meet you guys!

Our alarm clock every morning at 6.15am, directly in front of our window... The loudspeaker with which the village people were informed about the day's events and duties -

Every morning, we were driven by motorbike to the dive centre.

Often, our diveboat was escorted by two dozens of dolphins and, twice, even by pilote whales!!!!

These creatures (pix made by Michael Aw) stand for the whole fantastic and partly weird underwater world of Sulawesi... Frog fishes, scorpion fishes, pink leaf fishes, great green turtles, mandarin fishes, seasnakes, mantisshrimps, seahorses and stargazers and a lot more...

Pigmy Seahorse

Stargazer

Frogfish

Clownfish, aka Nemo...

Wenn wir nicht tauchten...

A rather disappointed Marco at Pizza Hut, in front of a full-size pizza... God, after two months of rice and fish only, I was so much looking forward to a real treat, i.e. a nice big pizza...

Sulawesi, we will definitely miss you!!!!!

Hey Petra - great to hear from you! Hope your start back in the netherlands was not too tough? Heard that the Nijmegen walk you were looking forward to was cancelled due to the heat? - Wish you luck finding the right job and take care!!
